As I wrote in an earlier post Home Staging A Condo For A Los Angeles Real Estate Auction Company , Moving Mountains Design staged 2 Los Angeles condos last week for a real estate auction company.
Both condo developments we staged the models for are new construction and are vacant. The auction company had rented a few pieces of furniture on their own, but didn't feel that the small amount of furniture made the model home units more appealing. They hired Moving Mountains Design to do a full model home staging of all 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a home office (also could be used as a family room), living room / dining room combination, eat-in kitchen and a massive ground floor family room.

This is how the master bedroom looked before staging. The bedding is blah and the dresser makes the room feel cramped. We moved the dresser to another room, added another nightstand and lamp, changed the bedding.
Now the master bedroom looks warm and luxurious after staging

I'm speechless at the befoe photos. They are really smart hiring you to do the job. I'm sure they will fetch hire prices with the room defination that you have provided.
Hi Michele: I'm glad the brought me in too. I'm not sure who ordered the furniture but it really wasn't enough to bring the condo to life. Also, whom ever brought the bedding took "buy neutral" into overdrive.
I hope you're correct Virginia. If the units fetch higher prices the auction company will sign up for staging on all their projects.
Hi Michelle, So much better after your staging! That was a boring, bland box with no color. You've created interest with the color and so improved the furniture arrangement in the living/dining areas, making that space look large.
