Los Angeles home stagers, Moving Mountains Design, was asked to stage a Hollywood condo by the listing agent, who also happens to be the homeowner. When a real estate agent hires a professional home stager to stage the listing agent's own property, you know they understand the value of home staging.
The offers started coming in after the first open house - multiple offers in less than 24 hours! The owner/listing agent was very smart. She priced the home properly, had it staged by a professional home stager, and marketed it well...the Trifecta of real estate sales.

Master bedroom before home staging

Master bedroom after home staging. The drapery were left by the previous tenant (and were quite nice) so we used bedding that would coordinate with the silk fabric.
This Hollywood condo has a great location on a small side street, just off of Hollywood Blvd. For more information, contact the listing agent, Judy Oroshnik, Prudential California Realty, at (323)671-1248.

Congratulations!! Beautiful work-love the colors in the master bedroom.
Michelle- Congratulations to you AND to the Owner/Agent! Two professionals doing what they do best. I liked the drapery left in the bedroom. It dictated a focal color that helped to warm the room.
Thank you Cathy. I'm glad you liked it.
Kathy: Thank you. The drapery was quite pretty, so I'm glad it was left behind.
Michelle I love the warm colors. Great job! I hope you are enjoying the SOLD high ;).
Janice: We are having a great start to 2010. Almost everything we have staged has sold either during the first or second week on the market. I'm very happy I'm helping to get those homes sold so quickly.
without the staging I would never have known there was a dining room. How would anyone looking at photos like those, in the mls, want to look at the house.
Smart realtor and great stager
This isn't a large space, Virginia, so every room had to be clearly defined. You're right...a lot fewer potential buyers would have come to see it without the staged photos in the MLS.
Hi Michelle - great work I can see why you made stager of the year. Great balance, color and flow. Love it!
Michelle, you rocked it again (as always!) and I see you got those coffee/accent tables that I can never seem to get my hands on ;) . It looks fabulous, no wonder it sold in 24 hours!
Mannie: You are way too generous with your praise, but thank you:o)
Thank you, Connie! I don't use those coffee tables that often, but I haven't had a problem getting them. The furniture angels were smiling on me, I guess.
Awesome, that you had some nice drapery to work with and something that matched!
Well hi Michelle,
Oh my gosh, what a difference, very well done.
I also love those tables....use them when I can get them too! GREAT looking AFTER's!!!
Beautiful work Michelle..when I saw the pics I also thought..hey I can never get those tables!
The furniture placement is very nice, bet it had great flow as you walked through.
Lovely job. It would be great to see a closer photo of the living room. I notice the view isn't too exciting, and you focused more on angling the sofa to align with the corner fireplace, which was a great idea.
Michelle, Nice job.
If only more real estate agents and homeowners "got it". I just staged a vacant apartment that was on the market for 5 months with no offers. After staging, the homeowner got 3 offers in the first week and now there's a bidding war going on.
It like your label of the Trifecta - I use "three legged stool" to describe inside marketing (staging), outside marketing (Promotion by the agent) and pricing. You are so right.
Thank you Kathy Burke!
Who knew those tables were so difficult to get! Thanks, Margaret.
Sally: The rooms are not large so it was difficult to shoot the rooms in a way that featured the rooms and not the furniture. I angled the sofa to draw attention to the fireplace and to give space behind the sofa for accessing the patio doors.
Donna: Slowly but surely estate agents everywhere will embrace home staging. You've got a great example of how home staging can help sell a difficult property. Congratulations!
Michelle, Congratulations on not only the quick sale, but also on yet another exceptional staging job.
Cindy Bryant: I missed your comment. Thank you. Having the drapery was a lucky break.
Lynda: I missed your comment too. Thank you. I'm glad you like it.
Nancy: Thank you so much. I'm really happy it sold so quickly.
Congrats, Michelle. Your work continues to inspire me.
And...
Congratulations. Your home staging is being featured in the group Staging Before and After Pictures.
Kathy
Thank you Kathy. And thank you for featuring my photos.
Love it! And congratulations on your much deserved Stager of the Year award!!
Thank you and thank you, Joan:o))
