A Real Estate Agent Talks To Their Client About Home Staging

I created this video of a real estate agent talking to her client about home staging. I thought it was a novel way to share more information about home staging.

Michelle, loved the idea, loved the message - was a little creeped out by the robotic voices.  Wonder if that can be tweaked?  Really neat idea, though.

Posted by Sally Weatherley-Exit Stage Right-Vancouver BC (EXIT STAGE RIGHT) about 2 years ago

Sally: I agree, the robotic voices are a little "different". I didn't see a way to change the voices, other than to add a pause. I thinks it's "what you see is what you get". They kind of grow on you after a while, though.

Michelle, this is a great idea. Love it. Agree with the robotic voice. It is also a little fast when talking a slight speed reduction might sound somewhat better. But this is very creative and like the idea!

Michelle, this is cute, different and I love the message. But I too am not sure about the robotic voices, a little odd.

Posted by Donna Schoby (Liberty Bank of Arkansas) about 2 years ago

Birgit & Donna: As far as I understand the system, you can't change the voices. I hope it makes people pay more attention, as unique things often do.

Posted by Michelle Minch Home Staging Los Angeles & Pasadena, CA (Moving Mountains Design Home Staging, Pasadena, CA) about 2 years ago

Actually.....I think the voices "work" with the cartoon.  Seems very "today".....and it does make you watch & listen!!

Thanks Michelle,

I think this is really cool.

I agree that the voices are a little robotic in sound, but it's cartoon style so it's easy to forgive that. Still, the conversation's concepts are perfectly clear.

I'm gonna go and check it out for myself. It looks like fun and useful.

Thanks again!

Kathy Burke: I agree.

I'm glad you like it, Donna. Its fairly easy to use, but there are not a lot of instructions on the site so you have to experiment.

Michelle, I loved it!  How creative you are!  I thought it did an excellent job of explaining and bringing out the importance of Home Staging.

Great explanation MM. I thought it was very clever and you are right, their voices do get better as you listen to it. Love the recommendation part...

I got so absorbed in the site-did it really just take minutes to make the video Michelle?? It is sooooo fun and fab!! I love it!

Carole: I'm glad you thought I did a good job:o))

LKP: I wanted to make sure everyone got the phone number right!

You're welcome Mannie. Thank you.

Truth be told Cathy Lee, it took me about 2 hours because I kept going back to re-edit, change camera angles, etc. Also, the instructions are pretty sketchy, so it was a lot of hunting and pecking.

Michelle, I loved it!!! The voices kind of fit with today's type of ads we see.  Once I got into it, didn't really notice it.  Very creative.  Thank you for sharing this.
