This past week we were hired to stage a very nice Glendora townhome that was seriously in need of some Los Angeles home stager love.
I was contacted by the homeowner who had read a recently published newspaper profile about me in the Pasadena Star News. Click here to read Pasadena Home Stager Gets Results
Another condo in her same development had gone on the market just before hers, was priced $1,000 more and was already in escrow. Her condo was vacant, the other was occupied and fully furnished, although it didn't appear to be professionally staged based on photos I saw on-line.
The listing agents were not able to come by when I finished staging so I didn't get their reaction until yesterday. Here's what Linda wrote:
Wes showed the condo today and thought he was the wrong place. He could not belive what you did. Good job!

WOW, what a difference. I can see how the agent thought he was in the wrong place. The lighting in the after photo is so good it looks as if the walls and flooring are a lighter color. Room looks FAB!!!
Linda: The photos were taken at about the same time on different days. I didn't open or close shutters to take either shot. Thats the difference having a few lighted lamps can make on the "feel" of the room. That's why we professional home stagers always advocate having all the lights turned on. Thank you.
Nice testimony from the Realtor! Always great to get that feedback Michelle!
Michelle....love seeing your work! It's beautiful!!
Great testimony...very well done Michelle!
Love great feed-back and you did an awesome job
How cute that they said that they thought they were in the wrong place. I can understand why though. The room looks entirely different. Excellent!
Congratulations. Your post is being featured in the group Staging Before and After Pictures.

As always Michelle, it DOES look like a different place! Did you stage the entire townhome or just the main spaces? I've been receiving a lot of requests for partial stagings and wonder if it's the trend and how YOU feel it works?
Just another great example of how staging a space is worth the cost and much more! Just awesome.
Thank you Mary Lou. It's always nice to hear from the listing agent that they think you did a good job.
Thank you for the feature Kathy!
Debra: This was a key room staging. I staged the living room, dining area, kitchen, master bedroom & master bath. I also put a few touches in the 2nd bathroom and hall. And we always provide hand soap and guest towels in the powder bath. We did not stage 2 additional bedrooms, which were fairly standard so didn't really require it.
Connie: I have a feeling staging is going to be the "magic" that makes this townhome sell. Thank you.
Nice and bright and clean. Great job!
Thank you Christine.
Wonderful work Michelle, warm..clean and put together..great job
Thank you Margaret!
Huge difference, Michelle. Any buyers will feel "at home" in a staged home much faster that in a "cold" empty house.
Marzena: This townhome was a typical vanilla box. Now it has some pizazz. I'm hoping staging does the trick.
Wow! What a difference. Your staging always inspires me.
Thank you Wanda!
