We staged this beautiful occupied Altadena home on Tuesday of last week. When I met with the Realtor and homeowner on Thursday afternoon, I was told that they already had an offer coming in after the first open house!
The homeowner was using the livingroom as the master bedroom. I won't show before photos of that room because it was heaped with everything they were pre-packing. Here's an after photo of the livingroom after staging:

I appreciate & respect that you did not show the 'before" here due to the nature of the pre-packing & privacy of that. I have given the "before" photos a different thought of late as I have been asked by a seller or two not to post before photos of their properties while selling. While it's great for seeing the results of what staging can do for a space, ultimately it's our duty to respect our client's wishes for privacy. The after photos here are superb!

Karen: Since the bedroom/livingroom had already been torn apart by the homeowner in preparing to move, it really wasn't a good representative "before" picture. I've never had a seller ask me not to post a before photo, but I won't anyway, if I think it will make anyone uncomfortable.

Sharon: Orange is one of my favorite colors. In Feng Shui, it is considered very energetic, causing movement and change. Also, it photographs well and makes rooms pop. Rooms with reds and oranges really stand out on the MLS.
Julie: The rug is beautiful. It actually appears more olive to the eye. And it really went well with the olive drapes already hanging in the room. I have no doubt that the home wouldn't sell quickly if they kept that room as the master bedroom and showed the house without a living room.
