Los Angeles Home Staging - A Hollywood Condo Home Staging Video

Los Angeles Home Staging - A Hollywood Condo Home Staging Video

Here's a home staging video of a Hollywood, CA condo we staged recently. I posted photos here: Los Angeles Home Staging A Hollywood Condo - Multiple Offers After The First Open House!

I thought it would be nice to show what we do when we are actually staging a home for sale.

Hi Michelle - I have been enjoying all of your videos.  I like this one as it shows a stager at work and how much stuff it takes to actually stage a vacant home.  Great job and as always your staging is simply beautiful.  Thank you for sharing some of your tips as well - never thought about pre-packaging baskets and colanders.

Wow... this is great! It really shows how you need to prep your displays ahead of time. We do the tub thing too. LOVE IT!!!  Maybe we all should invest in Sterilite ;))

Hi Mannie: I'm glad you like the videos. I like to get as much as possible done beforehand in the warehouse. It really is a time saver and makes us more effiecient. Thank you.

Hey LKP: I learned the tub trick from you, oh so long ago. I keep everything pre-packed in tubs in the warehouse. I should have invested in Sterilite several years ago.

I am laughing...I am looking for the 'tub' trick you and LKP are talking about??  As in 'bathtub'...and wondering what I missed!!  LOL....cute video!!  Great idea to show in a brief spot some basics of how we begin to stage a project.  Loved it Michelle!!

HI Michelle-I do the tub thing too by rooms, mine are from Costco and have blue tops. I love preparing before I arrive. It makes the project go so much smoother. Great Video!!

Cathy Lee: Its so much easier to prepare everything in the warehouse. That way I'm not hauling so much extra stuff and I know I have everything I need. Tubs and Post-It notes make every job run much more smoothly. I'll demonstrate in the next video:o)

You are so right-The jobs go quickly as we have done most of the work before we arrive.  I do not ever have much to return to inventory after the jobs either.

Hi Michelle, It was great to see you in action. Your work is simple, but oh so stylish and effective. Love it! Thanks for sharing. Donna

Thanks, Michelle, this was really fun to watch.  I also use those exact plastic bins.  They are nice and sturdy, unlike cardboard boxes.  The after shots look great.

Donna: Unless we pro stagers have the good fortune of having friendly relationships with other home stagers nearby, we never get to see how others do it. This was the first video I shot, so I really didn't know what I was doing or have a plan. I'm glad you liked it though.

Sally: Those bins are a little more expensive, but they last a lot longer than the less expensive ones. Also, all my bins match, which I think looks more professional and makes me feel more organized. Thank you.

Julia: I have some really great conversations with myself. "Myself" is really smart and has all the answers:o))
