This is adorable Michelle, I love the perspective of the open french doors overlooking the pool and the pop of that red door in the background, it invites you to explore the rest of the house.
On another note, if you can believe it, I had a dream last night that you drove a loaded moving truck to my home and ended up bringing me some accessories and staying in TX overnight, it was quite real! I almost woke up thinking you were here!
Wonderful job Michelle!!! I would love to have that kitchen in my own home walking right out to the pool. You did an excellent job showcasing all the great features of the home....isn't that what staging is all about??
Julie
Michelle - Karen took the words right out of my mouth - this home is truly adorable! It has such character, and your staging prowess emphasized all the charming doorways, nooks and crannies. Love it!
Karen: This home was so enticing, not only for the home itself, but also the great location. It is one block from a cute and popular village center (Larchmont Village) which has some really nice restaurants and shops. I could easily see myself living there.
Your dream sounds like fun! Not sure about driving a loaded moving truck, but I'd love to come visit one of these days!
Julie: I wish I could say I had something to do with the location of the pool, but alas, I cannot. All I can do is showcase what is there already. Thanks!
Sally: That's what we professional home stagers do...emphasize the charming bits! Thank you!
Lovely home and staging, Michelle. That pool is divine and I too love the red door in the background. How inviting!
I love this area of Los Angeles and could easily see myself living in this home-just the way you have it staged!! Beautiful!!
Thanks, Maureen!
Cathy Lee: Thank you!
I could move right in. Love the first pic of the livingroom with the orange. (Hey, there are the 2 stars from your last blog... that silk orchid and my fav succulent hiding behind the arm of the sofa?) Fabulous job showing "adorable" as an emotion for this staging!
LKP: You are correct. I made the orange orchid a few weeks ago, and I made the succulent just for this staging.
They got an offer yesterday on this house (we staged it Wednesday) and they are now in escrow!
As always Michelle, Fabulous !!
Michelle- If I were a buyer, I could just see myself at the table, having my morning coffee, looking out at the pool. I love this house.
Wow.. 5 DOM, not too shabby! The staging acellerated the sale of course ;)
Excellent staging job on this home. I love the red, it packs a nice punch.
Thanks Linda!
Kathy: The house has a really nice flow. I'm not a big swimming pool fan, but this one is fantastic.
LKP: The house had actually been on the market for about 153 days before I staged it. Priced way too high & painted very dark colors inside. For instance the living room was painted the same green color as the fireplace and the dining room was painted dark red. I felt like I was walking into a cave when I first saw the house.
Diane: I use a lot of red/orange in my staging. They are very energetic colors and very eye-catching in MLS photos.
